Field Work - On Campus Observation
SCSH 1201 (Sustainable Development : Issues, Principles, & Practices) 14/12/2022 (week 9) Wednesday, 11.15 a.m - 12 a.m Venue : Class online on Zoom In this lesson, there were six common indicator for campus sustainability which is Energy and Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transportation and Setting and Infrastucture. I also found out that there is a sustainable development building near the KICT faculty. We were also reminded to save electricity by turning off light switches and fans before going to class and to conserve water as best as possible. What I got from observation in the iium campus there is a food bank set up for anyone in need such as flood victims. and in mahallah aminah there is a shelter for cats that has been established by the abu hurairah club. at cfs gambang there is also a wellness room that has food and clothes. and in tasik maryam there are changes in terms of hygiene that have been carried out by iium.
